One private ZIP containing a 16-page fillable PDF, a matching printer-friendly PDF, a README, and a personal household license. The adult remains responsible for plant identity, food handling, tools, and grow lights.

Who does what

An adult supervises and makes safety decisions. The young participant observes, draws, measures, compares, and explains. Every family may skip a prompt that does not fit.

Your license

Save, fill, and print for the purchaser’s household. Do not share, resell, post, upload, or use the files in classrooms, clubs, library programs, or paid services.

Questions and answers

Why start with nursery plants?

Starter plants make the first version faster and let the family focus on site fit, drainage, observation, and a workable care rhythm. Growing herbs from seed can be a later project.

Are basil, chives, and parsley guaranteed to fit our window?

No. They are approachable options, but the adult should match the labeled plant’s needs to the real light and temperature. The project begins with a three-time-of-day window map.

Can children harvest and eat the herbs?

Only after an adult confirms the plant identity, growing inputs, cleanliness, allergies, and safe food handling. The project does not make that decision for a household.

Does the project collect family information?

No. It works entirely offline and needs no account, names, photos, uploads, location, or online result.
