How this site earns trust

Every public article should make its origin, evidence, author, date, and limitations understandable to a reader.

Publication gate

Drafts are not public by default. Before publication, the editor reviews the article's purpose, originality, factual claims, sources, internal links, dates, images, accessibility, and disclosures. Content that has not passed this review is excluded from routes, feeds, navigation, and the sitemap—not merely hidden behind a noindex tag.

Originality and firsthand experience

First-person statements must describe real experience that the author can stand behind. The site does not invent product tests, family memories, locations, credentials, quotations, results, or ownership. Stock scenarios are labeled as examples rather than presented as memories.

Sources and fact-checking

Advice articles favor primary research, government or university extension programs, veterinary schools, professional associations, recognized poison-control resources, and official manufacturer documentation. Sources are listed on the article and should directly support material claims.

Health, nutrition, toxicity, and emergency guidance receives extra scrutiny. When a qualified professional has not reviewed an article, the page says so and directs readers to an appropriate professional.

AI and automation

AI tools may assist with organizing research, checking structure, or editing a draft. They do not qualify as authors, sources, experts, or firsthand witnesses. No AI-assisted article is eligible for publication until a human verifies every material claim, source, date, image, and experience statement.

Earlier versions of this repository used automation too broadly. Those pages are being treated as unreviewed drafts and are kept offline unless they are manually rebuilt to meet this policy.

Dates and updates

“Published” means the date an article first became publicly available. “Updated” is used only after a substantive change, such as new reporting, corrected guidance, or meaningful restructuring. Dates are never randomized or changed simply to appear fresh.

Images and product reviews

Every published image must have known provenance and permission for its use. Captions and alternative text must describe the actual image. Product reviews require genuine use, a disclosed methodology, original evidence where practical, and a clear statement about how the product was obtained.

Corrections

Correction requests can be sent to hello@asianamericandaddy.com. Include the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting evidence. Material corrections update the article and its modified date; they are not silently disguised as new publication.

Advertising independence

Advertising does not determine conclusions or coverage. Ads are visually separated from editorial content, never placed on empty or navigation-only screens, and never labeled in a way that encourages clicks. See the full disclosure.
